Abstract

The Development of A Guideline for Caring of Children with Febrile Convulsion Risk in Kumphawapi Hospital

Abstract

            The action research aimed to study the development and evaluate of a guideline for caring of children with febrile convulsion risk in Kumphawapi Hospital. The sample purposive sampling consisted of Professional Nurses, children with febrile convulsion risk, and caretakers of children with febrile convulsion risk. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, content analysis and paired t-test. The study result showed that, professional nurses mostly of comment were possibility’ a guideline for caring of children with febrile convulsion risk at high level. satisfaction’ a guideline for caring of children with febrile convulsion risk at high level. Caretakers were satisfaction’ overall at high level. The mean score of knowledge’ professional Nurses and caretakers, after of development were higher than before of development at the significance (p =.006) (p =.001) The mostly professional nurses and the all caretakers of children were follow were follow a guideline for caring of children with febrile convulsion risk. The mean score of body temperature after of development were lower than before of development at the significance (p =.001) The results of the study show that before using a guideline for caring of children with febrile convulsion risk, should educate to personnel for increases efficiency caring of children with febrile convulsion risk.
