การพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของผู้ดูแลที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัว

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของผู้ดูแลในเขตเทศบาลวังชมภู อำเภอ
เมือง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ แบ่งเป็นระยะที่ 1) สำรวจความต้องการการพัฒนาความรู้เกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุด้วย
แบบสำรวจความต้องการพัฒนาความรู้เกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลที่มีผู้สูงอายุอาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัว
จำนวน 161 คน และระยะที่ 2) ออกแบบดำเนินการและประเมินประสิทธิผลโครงการฝึกอบรมการดูแลผู้สูงอายุสำหรับ
ผู้ดูแลโดยดำเนินการฝึกอบรม เป็นเวลา 2 วัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ดูแลที่มีผู้สูงอายุอาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวจำนวน 32 คน
เครื่องมือในระยะนี้ประกอบด้วย แผนการฝึกอบรมการดูแลผู้สูงอายุสำหรับผู้ดูแล และเครื่องมือเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล
ได้แก่ แบบวัดความรู้ 6 เรื่อง และแบบประเมินทักษะ 3 เรื่อง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วน
เบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุมีความต้องการการพัฒนาความรู้ระดับปานกลาง 9 รายการ และระดับน้อย
3 รายการ การประเมินประสิทธิผลของโครงการฯ พบว่า ผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคที่พบบ่อย การจัดการ
ภาวะฉุกเฉินหรับผู้สูงอายุ การใช้ยาในผู้สูงอายุ การช่วยเหลือกิจวัตรประจำวันแก่ผู้สูงอายุ การสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ
ผู้สูงอายุ และการจัดสภาพแวดล้อมที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุอยู่ในระดับสูงทุกรายการ และผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุมีทักษะ
เกี่ยวกับการช่วยฟื้นคืนชีพผู้สูงอายุ การช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุรับประทานยา และการส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกายอยู่ในระดับ
ถูกต้องมากทุกรายการ
