ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคเบาหวานที่เข้ารับบริการในโรงพยาบาลสามร้อยยอด จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์

งานวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ระดับพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ความรอบรู้ทางสุขภาพ การสื่อสารทางสุขภาพ และการสนับสนุนทางสังคมของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคเบาหวานที่เข้ารับบริการในโรงพยาบาลสามร้อยยอด จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคเบาหวานที่เข้ารับบริการในโรงพยาบาลสามร้อยยอด จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นสูงอายุโรคเบาหวาน จำนวน 119 คน เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติอนุมาน ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า
- ระดับพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ความรอบรู้ทางสุขภาพ การสื่อสารทางสุขภาพและการสนับสนุนทางสังคม โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (M = 3.21, SD = 0.64; M = 2.81, SD = 0.55 ; M= 3.34, SD = 0.51; M = 3.13, SD = 0.42)
- การสื่อสารทางสุขภาพเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดสูงสุด (Beta = .648, p< .01) รองลงมา คือ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม (Beta =.572, p<.05) และความรอบรู้ทางสุขภาพ (Beta= .487, p< .05) ตามลำดับ โดย 3 ตัวแปร สามารถร่วมกันทำนายพฤติกรรมควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดร้อยละ 60.20
ดังนั้นการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมสุขภาพเพื่อการควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดในผู้สูงอายุ พยาบาลวิชาชีพควรคำนึงถึงการสื่อสารทางสุขภาพเป็นสำคัญ ร่วมกับการส่งเสริมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมและความรอบรู้ ทางสุขภาพเพื่อเพิ่มแนวโน้มการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมการควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดไปในทางที่เหมาะสม
