Abstract

This research is a participatory action research. (Participatory Action Research-PAR). To evaluate the good pharmacy practice (GPP) standards and development of development model to good pharmacy practice (GPP) standards in drugstores for packaged non-dangerous or non-specially controlled drugs, Ratchaburi. The sample consisted of 30 recipients of drugstore licensing. Conducted from August 2023 - January 2024. Data were collected using a good pharmacy practice (GPP) standards assessment form in drugstores for packaged non-dangerous or non-specially controlled drugs, use the Quality Cycle (PDCA) and evaluating the satisfaction of the recipients of the drugstore. That passed the standard evaluation. Data analysis by using descriptive statistics and Wilcoxon matched pairs test. The results showed that:

After the licensee had a self-evaluation by the staff, according to the standard criteria, average percentage score of overall average scores of standard evaluations and more categories classified not according to the good pharmacy practice (GPP) standards. Results after the development process Standardized by using the model, there were 18 drugstores. Overall average scores of standard evaluations and more categories classified was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). The evaluation of the satisfaction of service recipients that have been GPP certified found that the service recipients are satisfied at a high level in terms of pharmaceutical services and other parts, respectively.

This research was found that development model with participatory action research-PAR can development model to good pharmacy practice (GPP) standards. It can be a model for developing other types of drugstores.
