This research and development aims to develop a nursing supervision model in the clinic and study the results of using the nursing supervision model in the clinic. This research consists of 6 phases: survey of problem conditions; Develop (draft) a supervisory model Experiment with the supervision model Improve format Put the model into practice Update and confirm format. The study involved 8 executive supervisor nurses, 64 professional nurses, and 497 patient caregivers. Data were collected using knowledge assessments, supervision and nursing practice evaluation forms, clinical guidelines, satisfaction questionnaires, and complication monitoring tools. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, t-tests, and content analysis. The research findings revealed that
The developed model consists of 8 components: knowledge enhancement; Review of goals and supervision plans, motivation, teaching, and performance support. Access to information and related teams. Guidelines for caring for ischemic or ischemic stroke and evaluation of nursing performance. Using the simulation model, nurses had significantly higher knowledge and supervisory practice scores than before using the simulation model. High satisfaction levels were reported by supervising nurses, professional nurses, and patient relatives (M=3.96, SD=0.52; M=4.29, SD=0.39; M=3.65, SD=0.69).
Therefore, nursing administrators should implement the developed model in nursing supervision to enhance knowledge, foster motivation, and improve the efficiency of nursing care for patients with ischemic stroke.
