The Relationship between Readiness in the Use of Information Technology and the Efficiency of the Performance among Personnel at Sub-district Health Promoting Hospitals under the Chanthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization

The objectives of this survey research were to study readiness for information technology use, and work efficiency of personnel and the relationship between personal factors, readiness for information technology use, and work efficiency of personnel at sub-district health promotion hospitals under the Chanthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. The study samples consisted of sub-district health-promoting hospital personnel from the Chanthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, totaling 159 people. The researchers collected the data using a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.94. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's chi-square test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis. The study results showed that:
The readiness to use information technology was at a moderate level. The efficiency in the performance was at a moderate level. Personal factors, including age, position, and readiness in using information technology, were found to have a relatively high positive relationship with the performance of the personnel at the subdistrict health-promoting hospitals under the Chanthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. (r = .777) with statistical significance at the .05 level.
Therefore, the e-Claim system administrators should be trained to use the system more appropriately for the work of the subdistrict health-promoting hospitals. This will enable it to serve as a data recording tool, reduce work time, and enhance efficiency.
