Desired leader characteristics College of Nursing Under the Faculty of Nursing, Praboromarajchanok Institute.

Abstract

          This research is quanlitative research to study  the desirable leadership characteristics of nursing colleges under the Faculty of Nursing. Praboromarajchanok Institute of Thailand. The sample consisted of nursing teachers from 4 nursing colleges by region. By random sampling in a chain use the unstructured interview. Analyze data by content analysis.

          The research results were the research revealed that 17 traits of effective leadership were 1) physical traits 2) personality traits 3) social traits 4) personal traits 5) knowledge traits 6) practice ability. job 7) professional characteristics 8) motivation characteristics 9) skill characteristics 10) administrative characteristics 11) moral and ethical characteristics 12) leadership characteristics 13) ability to be able to work with others 14) ability to plan work 15) leadership characteristics ability to work with the community 16) competence as a religious leader culture and ethics and 17) attitude characteristics.

          Recommendations from  the agency desirable leadership qualities obtained from this research should be used as a guideline for the development of school administrators. And used in further consideration in making decisions on the selection of school administrators school administrators apply the characteristics of the found leaders to further develop the characteristics of effective school administrators.
