Focus and Scope

Thai Journal of Dermatology is the official peer-reviewed publication of the Dermatological Society of Thailand. The journal aims to provide a forum for the exchange of information about new and significant research in dermatology in Thailand and throughout the world.  We welcome submissions from authors’ worldwide publishing articles that focus on dermatology and support the professional and educational needs of its readers. Thai Journal of Dermatology welcomes manuscripts that focus on clinical and basic science related to dermatology, health care policy and economics, medical education and ethics, and related topics. All research involving human research subjects, the authors please submit a photocopy of a document of approval from Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Institutional Ethic Committee (IEC).

Thai Journal of Dermatology prefers online submissions for Editorials, Original Articles, Review Articles and Case Reports

Peer Review Process

All new submissions are screened for completeness and adherence to the Guide for Authors. Those that pass are then assigned for peer review. The editorial office will seek at least three double-blinded peer reviewers are matched to the paper according to their expertise. Result of manuscripts initial evaluation stage will be informed as soon as possible. Manuscripts rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, be plagiarized, have serious conceptual and/or methodological errors or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. The Editor in Chief will make the decision regarding acceptance of any manuscripts for publication. 

Publication Frequency

Thai Journal of Dermatology is scheduled to be publish every three months

(4 issues/year: January - March, April - June, July - September, October - December).

 

It is our policy that there is NO publication charge.
