The participants were 126 nursing students who were studying in level 2, 3, and 4 and were  members of the Nursing Student Club Creating a Smoke-Free Thai Society. The research instruments were  the smoking cessation counseling video and the questionnaires on knowledge and self-efficacy. The smoking cessation counseling video was sent to nursing students via email. Data were collected by sending the online questionnaires via email. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test. The results indicated that after watching  the smoking cessation counseling video, nursing students gained better knowledge and self-efficacy than the pre-experimental  period  at p < .001.
