บทคัดย่อ
การควบคุมอุณหภูมิกาย เป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการอยู่รอดของทารก โดยเฉพาะทารกคลอดก่อนกำหนด ทารกแรกเกิดที่เจ็บป่วย หรือ ทารกแรกเกิดปกติ ภาวะร่างกายที่มีอุณหภูมิต่ำมีความสัมพันธ์โดยตรงกับอัตราการตายและความเจ็บป่วยในทารก และเป็นสาเหตุที่เพิ่มอัตราการเสียชีวิตถึงร้อยละ 28 บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวคิดของภาวะอุณหภูมิกายต่ำ อาการและอาการแสดง แนวทางการป้องกัน และการดูแลทารกแรกเกิดที่มีอุณหภูมิกายต่ำเพื่อนำไปสู่การดูแลทารกแรกเกิดอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในระบบบริการสุขภาพตามนโยบายของกระทรวงสาธารณสุข
