Evidence base practice guideline: Central lines monitoring management for preventing complication

การผ่าตัดหัวใจแบบเปิด (open heart surgery) เป็นวิธีการรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคหัวใจชนิดต่าง ๆ โดยการใช้เครื่องปอดและหัวใจเทียม (cardiopulmonary bypass machine) เพื่อทำหน้าที่แทนหัวใจและปอดขณะผ่าตัด ทำให้เลือดสวนหนึ่งหรือทั้งหมดไม่ผ่านหัวใจ ทำให้หัวใจและปอดอยู่ในสภาพนิ่ง ทำให้ศัลยแพทย์สามารถมองเห็นพยาธิสภาพที่ต้องการแก้ไขได้ชัดเจนและทำการผ่าตัดได้สะดวก การผ่าตัดนี้เป็นวิธีหนึ่งในการรักษาโรคหัวใจ ได้แก่ การผ่าตัดทำทางเบี่ยงหลอดเลือดหัวใจ (coronary artery bypass graft: CABG) การผ่าตัดลิ้นหัวใจ (valvular heart surgery) การผ่าตัดแก้ไขโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิด (congenital heart disease surgery) การผ่าตัดปลูกถ่ายหัวใจ (heart transplantation) เป็นต้น
