Abstract
The study aimed to compare oral health service utilization among Thai children aged 5-14 years, using secondary data 9,858 and 18,512 records of the 2013 and 2015 health and welfare survey, respectively which held by the National Statistical Office. According to data verification, remaining 9,831 and 18,467 records had been weighted to represent population and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Overall oral health service utilization rate was dropped while the frequency was stabled. Children having the civil servant medical benefit system (CSMBS) had utilization rate and frequency greater than those of the universal health coverage system (UHCS) but the differences were decreased. The latest service used by UHC children was still tooth extraction while that of CSMBS was filling. Exclusion oral examination, main the service source using by the two-system children was public sector which community hospital was the first place. Main reason of did not use the welfare benefit when utilized the last service was late and took a long time. In addition, some children had unmet need because of long queues and took a long time.
