ผลของการใช้ไลน์แอปพลิเคชันสื่อสารข้อมูลทันตสุขภาพในผู้ปกครองเด็กปฐมวัย อำเภอลอง จังหวัดแพร่

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความรู้และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากเด็กปฐมวัยของผู้ปกครองและอนามัยช่องปากของเด็ก ก่อนและหลังการให้ทันตสุขศึกษาด้วยวิธีปกติและการใช้ไลน์จ๊ะเอ๋ฟอฟัน ทั้งหมด 21 วัน ตามทฤษฎีอุปนิสัย 21 วัน เก็บข้อมูลในเด็กอายุ 1 ปี 6 เดือน ถึง 4 ปี 5 เดือน 29 วัน และผู้ปกครอง จำนวน 59 คน ตั้งแต่เมษายน 2564 ถึง กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 โดยใช้แบบประเมินพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากและตรวจสุขภาพช่องปากเด็กก่อนและหลังการทดลอง 21 วัน และ 6 เดือน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เมื่อครบ 21 วัน ผู้ปกครองกลุ่มทดลองมีความรู้เพิ่มขึ้น (n=29, t=2.17, p=0.019) และมีคะแนนความรู้ (mean=11.0, SD=1.59) มากกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม (mean=9.7, SD=1.68) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t=2.89, p=0.002) ผู้ปกครองกลุ่มทดลองมีพฤติกรรมโดยรวมดีขึ้น (n=29, t=2.09, p<0.05) และมีคะแนนพฤติกรรมด้านการดูแลช่องปาก (mean=6.0, SD=1.46) ดีกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม (mean=5.3, SD=1.47) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t=1.84, p=0.036) เด็กกลุ่มทดลองมีคราบจุลินทรีย์ลดลง (n=29, Z=-2.665, p=0.004) และมีคะแนนคราบจุลินทรีย์ (mean=0.3, SD=0.45) น้อยกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม (mean=0.6, SD=0.56) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (U=-2.24, p=0.013) อย่างไรก็ตามไม่พบความแตกต่างเมื่อเปรียบเทียบที่ระยะเวลา 21 วัน และ 6 เดือน การส่งเสริมทันตสุขภาพโดยใช้ไลน์จ๊ะเอ๋ฟอฟัน ทำให้ผู้ปกครองมีความรู้และพฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปากเด็กรวมทั้งทำให้เด็กปฐมวัยมีอนามัยช่องปากดีขึ้น ทว่าในระยะยาวควรมีกิจกรรมกระตุ้นเตือนเป็นระยะเพื่อให้พฤติกรรมดังกล่าวยังคงอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่อง
