Simultaneous Bilateral Central Retinal Vein Occlusion as an Initial Presentation of Hematologic Disease: Two Cases Reports
Keywords:
bilateral central retinal vein occlusion, hematologic diseaseAbstract
Bilateral central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) is uncommon presentation. The author reported two cases (30-yearold,
73-year-old) of bilateral CRVO. The patients came to hospital with ophthalmic problems which required medical
and laboratory investigations. They were newly diagnosed with hematological disorders. Early treatment of underlying
diseases should be performed to save life and improve visions. The visual prognosis and clinical outcomes depend on
hematologic disease.
