Abstract

           มุมมองเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติในวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว โดยมีพื้นฐานที่สำคัญมาจากศาสนาชินโตที่เกิดขึ้นมาตั้งแต่เริ่มแรกของประเทศญี่ปุ่น ปลูกฝังความเชื่อเรื่องพระเจ้าหรือคะมิ (Kami) ทำให้มนุษย์และธรรมชาติอยู่ร่วมกันในรูปแบบพึ่งพาอาศัยและเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน ฮายะโอะ มิยาซากิผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันชื่อดังของประเทศญี่ปุ่นมักจะนำเอาแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติตามแบบฉบับของวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นเล่าผ่านภาพยนตร์ของเขาในมุมมองต่าง ๆ


          งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งที่จะศึกษาแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติในมุมมองของวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นที่ปรากฏให้เห็นในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันเรื่อง เจ้าหญิงโมโนโนเคะ (Princess Mononoke) ของผู้กำกับฮายาโอะ มิยาซากิ พบว่ามีการนำแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติมาใช้ ทั้งแก่นของเรื่องที่พูดถึงเรื่องการอยู่ร่วมกันของมนุษย์และธรรมชาติ การออกแบบฉากและตัวละครโดยใช้แนวคิดพื้นฐานจากความเชื่อเรื่องคะมิในศาสนาชินโต


           The way of thinking about nature in Japanese culture is very unique. It is based on Shintoism that occurred from the beginning of Japan. The main idea of Shinto is to believe in deities (Kami) of everything in nature that make humans and nature coexist in mutual respect and complementing. Hayao Miyazaki, the most famous director of Japanese animated films always uses ideas about the concept of nature in Japanese perspective in his films.   


            This research aimed to study about concept of nature in Japanese perspective that appeared in “Princess Mononoke” the animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The result found that he used the concept of nature in the main theme of the film about the coexistence of human and nature, set design and character design that based on the belief of Kami in Shintoism.
