การศึกษาบทบาทพุทธมณฑลในบริบทของชุมชน ต่อการวางผังและแผนพัฒนาพื้นที่

Abstract

          การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง การศึกษาบทบาทพุทธมณฑลในบริบทของชุมชน ต่อการวางผังและแผนพัฒนาพื้นที่มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของพื้นที่พุทธมณฑล จากระดับโลกลงมาสู่ระดับชุมชน ในบทบาทด้านการเป็นพุทธศาสนสถาน บทบาทด้านการเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ/สวนสาธารณะ/พื้นที่สีเขียว บทบาทด้านสังคมและบทบาทด้านเศรษฐกิจ เพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพื้นที่พุทธมณฑลและชุมชนที่อยู่โดยรอบ ซึ่งสามารถนำมาเป็นพื้นฐานองค์ความรู้และประยุกต์ใช้ในการวางผังและแผนพัฒนาพื้นที่พุทธมณฑลและชุมชนโดยรอบ เพื่อให้บริบทของพื้นที่พุทธมณฑลและชุมชนโดยรอบมีความสอดคล้องและส่งเสริมกัน อันจะนำไปสู่การเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีบทบาทสำคัญควบคู่กันไปทั้งในระดับโลกและบริบทของชุมชน

          การวิจัยนี้ ประกอบด้วย การศึกษาจากข้อมูลทุติยภูมิในเบื้องต้น ควบคู่กับการทบทวนทฤษฎีและแนวคิดที่เกี่ยวข้อง อันได้แก่ ทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับอิทธิพลของสภาพแวดล้อมที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้ต่างๆ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับลักษณะชุมชนและองค์ประกอบเมือง แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับพุทธศาสนสถานและพื้นที่สวนสาธารณะ เพื่อกำหนดกรอบการศึกษาวิจัย และทำการเก็บข้อมูลปฐมภูมิกับกลุ่มชุมชนในพื้นที่วิจัยซึ่งอยู่โดยรอบพุทธมณฑลในระยะ 2 กิโลเมตร และนำมาแจกแจงข้อมูล วิเคราะห์ผลเปรียบเทียบในด้านต่างๆ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า พุทธมณฑลในปัจจุบันมีบทบาทด้านการเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ/สวนสาธารณะ/พื้นที่สีเขียวมากที่สุด บทบาทด้านพุทธศาสนสถานรองลงมา ส่วนบทบาทด้านสังคมและเศรษฐกิจน้อยที่สุด ในด้านปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้บทบาท พบว่า กิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นภายในพื้นที่ก่อให้เกิดการรับรู้บทบาทต่างๆ  โดยได้ทำการวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบปัจจัยด้านกายภาพของชุมชนเพิ่มเติม เพื่อหาสิ่งที่ส่งผลต่อการรับรู้หรือประเมินบทบาทที่ต่างกัน ได้พบว่า อุปสรรคในด้านการเข้าถึงพื้นที่เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญประการหนึ่งที่ส่งผลต่อการรับรู้บทบาทในด้านต่างๆ ระหว่างชุมชนและพุทธมณฑล จากผลการศึกษาวิจัย จึงได้นำไปสู่ข้อเสนอแนะแนวทางการปรับปรุงเพื่อส่งเสริมบทบาทพื้นที่พุทธมณฑล โดยใช้ชุมชนโดยรอบเป็นกลไกสำคัญ แบ่งเป็น 2 ประเด็นหลัก คือ 1) การส่งเสริมบทบาทโดยการจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ และกระบวนการการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการบริหารจัดการ ดูแลและพัฒนาพื้นที่ร่วมกัน 2) การปรับปรุงและพัฒนาด้านกายภาพของพื้นที่ เช่น การปรับปรุงลักษณะเส้นทางสัญจร การเข้าถึงพื้นที่ การปรับสภาพภูมิทัศน์โดยรอบ รวมถึงมาตรการทางผังเมืองเพื่อกำหนดนโยบาย เป็นพื้นที่เฉพาะเพื่อส่งเสริมบทบาทภาพลักษณ์ของพุทธมณฑล เพื่อสร้างเป็นอัตลักษณ์ (Identity) ให้กับพื้นที่

               This research aims to study the role of Phutthamonthon in community context for planning development. From the global role to the community level, in the role of Buddhist monastery, Park and Public green space, Social, Economic, in relationship to Phutthamonthon and surrounding community. These can be taken as a basis of knowledge for apply to the planning and development in this area, and it’s vicinity. This will lead to an area that plays an important role in parallel to both global and community context

               The research includes the study of secondary data, to be used as the basis of the research. Coupled with a review of the theories, such as the environment that affect awareness, concept of community and urban, Buddhist and parks. In performing the research, primary data were collected by field survey and questionnaire in community in the area around 2 kilometers from Phutthamonthon. Compare and analyze the results in various fields.

               Findings from the conducted research revealed that, Phutthamonthon has The role of a recreation / park / green space more than The role of Buddhist.  Social and economic have no result. The factors affecting to the perception that the activity within the area causing the perceived roles. Form the comparative analysis of the physical characteristics of the community to find out what the impact of perceived or evaluated different role. The access to the area is an important factor affecting the perceived role in various fields, between the community and the Phutthamonthon. From The results of the study, It has to establish the proposals to improve the role guidelines for Phutthamonthon. The important issue is the development of surrounding community, by 1) Promoting role by organizing various activities, and the involvement of communities in the management process of this area 2) the improvement and development of areas such as improving the physical area, access to area, landscape, assessing process for setting the policy. The specific areas to promote the image of Buddha, in order to create the identity of the area.
