ภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมย่านถนนราชดำเนิน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

Abstract

                จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชเป็นพื้นที่สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์และเป็นเมืองเก่าที่มีความสำคัญในการเข้ามาของศาสนาพุทธในประเทศไทย แต่สภาพการขยายตัวของเมืองในปัจจุบันมีความเจริญเติบโตจนพื้นที่สำคัญบางพื้นที่ไม่ได้รับการใส่ใจดูแลและไม่เห็นถึงความสำคัญของพื้นที่ในอดีต ผู้วิจัยจึงทำการศึกษาเรื่องภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมเพื่อเพิ่มความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรม กระบวนการจัดการและศึกษาองค์ประกอบที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมย่านถนนราชดำเนิน เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมย่านถนนราชดำเนิน จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

               การศึกษามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพของเขตโบราณสถานย่านถนนราชดำเนิน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช รวมถึงสภาพปัญหาอุปสรรคต่อการอนุรักษ์พื้นที่ทางภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรม โดยศึกษาทฤษฏีแนวความคิดที่เกี่ยวข้องเกี่ยวกับภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรม เพื่อใช้ในการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบและกระบวนการจัดการภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมที่มีผลกระทบต่อพื้นที่ต่อการจัดการภูมิทัศน์ทางวัฒนธรรมของเมือง เพื่อสรุปและเสนอแนวทางการจัดการร่วมกับการอนุรักษ์ภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

               ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การตั้งถิ่นฐานของมนุษย์  สภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงตามยุคสมัย การขยายตัวของพื้นที่อยู่อาศัยของประชากร รูปแบบการคมนาคมขนส่งที่เปลี่ยนแปลงและการปรับตัวเข้าสู่สังคมเมืองในยุคสมัยใหม่ ทำให้พื้นที่สำคัญของเมืองในอดีตมีการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการใช้งานของพื้นที่สำคัญไปบ้าง แต่ก็ยังคงภาพลักษณ์โดยรวมของเมืองไว้ ประชาชนที่อยู่ในพื้นที่ศึกษามีลักษณะพึ่งพาอาศัยกันโดยแสดงออกผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของชุมชน มีการส่งเสริมและเห็นคุณค่าความสำคัญของแหล่งโบราณสถาน วัฒนธรรม ศิลปกรรม  ศาสนา ประเพณี สถาปัตยกรรมและภูมิปัญญาทั้งจากหน่วยงานของรัฐและเอกชน โดยให้ชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมช่วยกันดูแลปกป้องรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชาติให้อยู่ต่อไป อีกทั้งผู้วิจัยได้เสนอแนะแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมทั้งโบราณสถาน ศิลปกรรม วัฒนธรรม ประเพณี และข้อเสนอแนะที่ได้จากการวิเคราะห์ปัญหาที่พบจากการเก็บข้อมูล เพื่อรักษาให้ภูมิทัศน์วัฒนธรรมอยู่คู่เมืองนครศรีธรรมราชสืบไป

            ‘Nakhon Si Thammarat’, one of the southern provinces, at the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand, Which has been an ancient city with plenty of important historical stories has been existed. One of them is the coming of Buddhism to Thailand. Since the development was brought into, some extraordinary areas and cultural spaces have been ignored and out of the maintenance. Thus the researcher, realise that the importance of understanding towards the study and management of cultural landscape can keep Nakhon Si Thammarat’s cultural  atmosphere alive.

               The purposes of the research emphasized on the study the physical characteristics of the historical areas on Ratchadamnoen Road, Amphoe Mueang, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Also, the research described obstacles and difficulties of the cultural landscape. Researcher analysed the theories and concepts of the cultural landscape for encountering the factors affecting to the cultural landscape of ‘Nakhon Si Thammarat’. and provide the progresses to solve those problems efficiently.

               The results of this research were as follows: Human habitat, environmental setting changes, expanding of residential area, transportation changes and society development; have been adapted important many area, and that changed the area usage. Many activities in the community expressed very good participation and supporting of the people in Ratchadamnoen Road. The remain image of ‘Nakhon Si Thammarat’ Ratchadamnoen Road is in study the area. While the government and private organization encourage and aware value of historical architecture, culture, art, religion and wisdom. And community realize and preserve the importance of historical elements. This research suggest guideline for manage and preserve the cultural landscape of ‘Nakhon Si Thammarat’ last long.
