การศึกษาวิธีการเชื่อมต่อช่องสู่ช่องในการ์ตูนเรื่อง “ชิงช้า 1” โดยวิศุทธิ์ พรนิมิตร

Abstract

             การ์ตูนช่อง (Comics) เป็นหนึ่งในสิ่งที่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างสูงมานาน เป็นที่ทราบกันดีว่าความนิยมอ่านการ์ตูนแพร่หลายทั้งในเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ด้วยเนื้อเรื่องและรูปแบบที่หลากหลายจากแหล่งการ์ตูนทั้งต่างชาติและไทย วิศุทธิ์ พรนิมิตร เป็นนักวาดการ์ตูนที่น่าจับตามอง ณ ขณะนี้ ผลงานทั้งเก่าและใหม่ของเขาล้วนแล้วแต่ประสบความสำเร็จและได้รับความนิยมในหมู่คนรุ่นใหม่ งานของเขามักให้ความสำคัญกับสภาวะความจริงที่สะท้อนอยู่ในสังคมของการดำรงอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน โดยถ่ายทอดออกมาผ่านรูปแบบการ์ตูนช่อง ที่ได้รับการยอมรับว่ามีแบบฉบับการวาด การเล่าเรื่องและเนื้อหาที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะตัว

             งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษากลวิธีการเชื่อมต่อช่องสู่ช่อง (Closure)  ในการ์ตูนของวิศุทธิ์ พรนิมิตร เรื่อง ชิงช้า 1 ตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรก พ.ศ. 2554  โดยมุ่งประเด็นที่การศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวิธีการเชื่อมต่อช่องและการสื่อความหมายของเรื่องในการ์ตูนโดยใช้กรอบวิธีการศึกษาของนักวิเคราะห์การ์ตูนอเมริกันชื่อ สกอตต์ แมคคลาวด์ (Scott McCloud) พบว่า วิศุทธิ์ พรนิมิตร ใช้วิธีการเชื่อมต่อข่องแบบช่วงเวลาสู่ช่วงเวลามากที่สุด ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับการเล่าเรื่องด้วยภาพและวิธีการวาดแบบเน้นความรู้สึกมากกว่าแอ็คชั่นหรือความเคลื่อนไหว ดังที่เห็นในการ์ตูนบางตอนของนักเขียนผู้นี้ที่ไม่มีบอลลูนคำพูดเลยแต่สามารถสื่อความรู้สึกออกมาได้ดี

              Comics are one of things which has been very popular for a long time. Without doubt, comics are regarded with great favor among both children and adults because of the variety of contents and styles. In those comics that came from different countries including Thailand, Wisut Ponnimit is an outstanding cartoonist; both of his old and new works were successful and popular among a young generation. His works give precedence to condition of facts which reflected in a social of existence in everyday life and tell the stories through the comics to recognized that the patterns, narratives, and contents are very unique.

             This research aims to study a methods of closure in comics of Wisut Ponnimit, “Ching Cha 1”, first published in 2554 A.D. Analyzing, based on “Closure” methods of American Cartoonist, “Scott McCloud”, found that the most frequently connecting method that Wisut Ponnimit used in his comics is “Moment to Moment” which conform to his visual storytelling technique and drawing method that emphasize on feeling more than action or movement. Although some episodes of his comics are shown without any speech bubble, they can still express feelings very well.
