Abstract

                    เด็กปฐมวัยถือเป็นวัยทองแห่งการเรียนรู้  เพราะเป็นช่วงเวลาที่สมองพัฒนาสูงสุดและส่งผลต่อสติปัญญา  บุคลิกภาพ  และความฉลาดทางอารมณ์  การพัฒนาเด็กในช่วงวัยนี้จึงเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาทักษะและความสามารถในระดับที่สูงขึ้นต่อไป  การเรียนรู้โดยใช้สมองเป็นฐานและการคิดเชิงบริหารเป็นหลักการที่อยู่บนพื้นฐานขององค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับสมองทั้งองค์ประกอบและกลไกหน้าที่การทำงานของสมอง  แต่มีจุดเน้นที่ต่างกันจึงทำให้เป้าหมาย  หลักการ  และการปฏิบัติแตกต่างกันไป  ดังนั้นการนำหลักการ  “การเรียนรู้โดยใช้สมองเป็นฐาน” หรือ “การคิดเชิงบริหาร” สู่การปฏิบัติเพื่อเสริมสร้างพัฒนาการ  การเรียนรู้ของเด็กปฐมวัยจึงขึ้นอยู่กับครู ผู้ปกครองเลือกให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายที่ต้องการพัฒนาเด็กปฐมวัย  เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของเด็กปฐมวัยอย่างเต็มศักยภาพ  และเป็นการวางรากฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ที่จะเป็นกำลังขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาประเทศชาติต่อไป

                 Early childhood is a critical period of learning for children because the developing brain affects cognition, personality and emotional intelligence. Developing children at this age is an important foundation for further skill and ability development. Brain Based Learning and Executive Functions are principles based on brain knowledge, including brain composition and brain function. Both principles have different practices that focus on different parts of the brain, principals, and goals. When applying and put into practice the principles “Brain Based Learning" or "Executive Functions", it is up to the teachers or parents to select the appropriate goals in order to develop and enhance learning in early childhood children. These principles will help to promote the early childhood stage’s full potential and will also help to be a foundation of human resource development for the country's development.
