The Development of a Single Window Integrated with Transportation Management in ASEAN

Abstract

                As a high level of economy competition around the world, the concept of “Economic Integration” has begun for seeking agreements and approaches to increase potential and stability in among countries in geographic region. As well as, the National Single Window has been implemented in order to strengthen the competitiveness on international trade especially in ASEAN community.

               This papers aims to study overall situation of ASEAN Single Window in term of import – export and to investigate limitation usage of ASEAN Single Window. This leads to propose the platform or the roadmap for ASEAN Single Window that is integrated with transportation management for further practical implementation.

             The paper suggested the roadmap for ASEAN Single Window that is integrated with transportation management by improving the system to be ready for connecting with all functions of border trade. This includes upgrading e-custom process and bringing all modes of transportation for customer across the state by cooperation from all stakeholders.
