กลวิธีการตั้งชื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยเป็นภาษาจีน (The method of translating the title of Thai movies to Chinese)

Abstract

               งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์กลวิธีการแปลชื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยเป็นภาษาจีน โดยวิเคราะห์ จากภายนตร์ไทย 86 เรื่อง  ซึ่งเป็นภาพยนตร์ไทยที่ฉายตั้งแต่ปี คศ. 2002-2018 โดยใช้ทฤษฎีสโคโปส ( Skopos Theroy ) และอ้างอิงเพิ่มเติมจากงานวิจัยกลวิธีการตั้งชื่อหนังตลกของชาวอเมริกันของศุภวรรณ ทองวัน  ผลการวิจัยพบว่าผู้แปลใช้กลวิธีการแปลทั้งหมด 9 วิธี กลวิธีการแปลที่นิยมแปลมากที่สุด คือ การตั้งชื่อใหม่โดยอิงกับแก่นเรื่อง และไม่ยึดติดกับคำเดิม กลวิธีที่นิยมน้อยที่สุด คือ การตั้งชื่อใหม่ โดยใช้คำที่มีเค้าความเดิม และเสริมข้อความภาษาจีน การทับศัพท์ทั้งหมด มีการเสริมข้อความภาษาจีน และการทับศัพท์บางส่วน  เปลี่ยนข้อความบางส่วน 

                This research study has the objective to analyze the method of translating the title of Thai movies to Chinese. It has analyzed 86 Thai movies which have been released during the year 2002 -2018, using Skopos theory, with further reference from the research on ‘Translating American Comedy Film Title into Thai; Strategies and Analysis’ by Supawan Thongwan. The research found that translators have used 9 methods in translation. The most popular methods is giving the new title that is related to the plot rather than sticking to the original wordings. The least popular methods are giving new titles with words that are similar to the original, with some Chinese words or phrases, transliteration with some Chinese words or phrases and partial transliteration with some changes of words or phrases.
