แนวคิดในการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์การเมืองและสังคมจีนของอ้าย เว่ยเว่ย ผ่านผลงานศิลปะ (Conceptual to criticize on social and political of Ai Wei Wei’s artwork)

Abstract

         บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาแนวคิดในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะที่มีเนื้อหาเชิงวิพากษ์วิจารณ์สังคมและการเมืองจีนของอ้าย เว่ยเว่ยศิลปินชาวจีน โดยศึกษาและวิเคราะห์จากผลงานประเภทศิลปะจัดวางสื่อผสม(Mixed Media Installation) โดยทำการศึกษาผลงานศิลปะที่ทำขึ้น ระหว่างปี 2009-2012 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ผลงานศิลปะของอ้าย เว่ยเว่ยมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับการเมืองและสังคมจีนอย่างโดดเด่น ได้แก่ Snake Ceiling (ค.ศ.2009) Remembering (ค.ศ.2009)  Sunflower seed (ค.ศ.2010) และ Straight (ค.ศ.2012) จากการศึกษาสามารถวิเคราะห์แนวคิดในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทั้ง 4 ชิ้นได้เป็น 2 แนวทาง คือ 

1. ผลงานศิลปะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์สำคัญทางสังคมและการเมืองจีน โดยผลงานในกลุ่มนี้จะเกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่เกิดขึ้นในช่วงเวลานั้นและมีผลกระทบต่อสังคมเป็นวงกว้าง


2. ผลงานศิลปะที่แฝงนัยยะการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์เสียดสีสังคมและการเมืองจีน ในกลุ่มนี้จะได้อิทธิพลจากตัวศิลปินเป็นหลักที่พยายามสะท้อนการขาดสิทธิเสรีภาพจากระบอบการปกครอง ความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสังคม ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นมานานแล้ว นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า ศิลปินมักจะเลือกนำเอาวัสดุพร้อมใช้ (Ready Made) ที่หลากหลายและมีความหมายเชิงลึกทางสังคมวัฒนธรรม ประวัติศาสตร์หรือที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์ที่มีความสอดคล้องไปกับเนื้อหาสาระที่ต้องการสื่อได้อย่างลงตัว

           This article focuses on the study of the creative conceptual of Ai Wei Wei’s art works which criticisms of Chinese society and politics. From studying and analyzing the “MixedMedia Installation” work as well as considering the political and social conditions of China at that time also This study selects 4 art works which created during 2009-2012, such as Snake Ceiling(2009), Remembering(2009), Sunflower Seed(2010), and Straight(2012From the study of 4 art works can identify his creative conceptual art works into 2 ways.

1. The art works which related with important social and political events. In this group, it reflect widely impact of those social and political events


2. The art works that imply the reflection on Chinese society and politics criticism. In this group will be influenced by the artist as the main effort to reflect for the lack of freedom from the regime, social inequality, etc. Most of them are past events. In addition, it is found that artists often choose to use ready-made materials that have cultural historical meaning or related events which are consistent with the content. As a result, the work of Ai Wei Wei become more remarkable and can keep connect with the social trend.
