ตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวงผ่านการเรียนรู้งานศิลปกรรม (The Legend of Pratatlampangluang Learning through Creative Arts)

Abstract

              การศึกษาตำนานเรื่องพระธาตุลำปางหลวงผ่านการเรียนรู้งานศิลปกรรมมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.ศึกษาข้อมูลประวัติความเป็นมาและโครงสร้างของตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวง 2. ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวงผ่านการสร้างสรรค์ทางศิลปะ 3. เพื่อสืบทอดคุณค่าของตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวงมรดกอารยธรรมล้านนา จ.ลำปาง หลังจากศึกษาจึงนำวิธีการสร้างสรรค์ทางศิลปะเป็นเครื่องมือในการศึกษาโครงสร้างและความเป็นมา ตำนานคือเรื่องเล่าที่สืบทอดกันมาอย่างยาวนาน ซึ่งตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวงถูกจารในคัมภีร์ในสมัยพุทธศตวรรษที่ 21 คัดลอกสืบต่อกันมา เป็นตำนานฝ่ายวัด กล่าวถึงในตอนแรกถึงการเผยแผ่ศาสนา และตอนที่สองเป็นการทำนุบำรุงพระธาตุ รวมถึงเจตนาในการจารตัวอักษรบนคัมภีร์หรือจุดประสงค์ในการแต่งตำนาน เพื่อสืบทอดอายุของพระพุทธศาสนาให้หลุดพ้นจากการเวียนว่าย ตาย เกิด ในวัฏฏะสงสารเข้าถึงนิพพาน ดังนั้นการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ เป็นภาพประกอบเรื่องราวที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากตำนานที่เกิดจากความเข้าใจส่งผลต่อจินตนาการ ผสานกับทักษะฝีมือและประสบการณ์ของผู้สร้างสรรค์ถ่ายทอดเอกลักษณ์ แสดงกระบวนการถ่ายทอดรูปแบบ โดยการจัดองค์ประกอบศิลปะก่อเกิด เป็นความงามให้มีความเข้าใจในเนื้อหา ผลที่ได้จากการศึกษาความเป็นมาและโครงสร้างของตำนานผ่านการสร้างสรรค์ภาพประกอบจากแรงบันดาลใจตำนานพระธาตุลำปางหลวง เป็นแนวทางการสืบทอดคุณค่าของตำนานผ่านการทำงานศิลปะโดยนำกระบวนการนี้ มาพัฒนาเป็นภาพประกอบที่สมบูรณ์ขึ้น เพื่อที่จะสามารถนำไปบูรณาการกับเรื่องต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องให้คงคุณค่าสืบทอดมรดกของภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นซึ่งนับวันจะเลือนหายไปกับกาลเวลา

             The study of the Legend of Pratatlampangluang Learning through Creative Arts had the objectives to 1) study the history and the structure of the legend of Pratatlampangluang 2) transmit the story of the legend of Pratatlampangluang through creative arts 3) continue the value of the legend of Pratatlampangluang, Lanna civilization heritage Lampang province.  After the study, the author used creative arts to study the structure and history of the legend which had been retold for a very long.  The Legend of Pratatlampangluang was written in a scripture in the 21 Buddhist Century, continued copying all through the history.  It is a monastery legend because the first part tells about spreading Buddhism and the second part tells about the maintenance of the pagoda including the intent to script the letters on the scripture or the purpose of writing down the legend to continue Buddhism to end the circle of birth, living, death and continual birth onto nirvana.  So the creation by line-drawing as illustration the stories of the legend from understanding by imagination combining with skills and experiences of the creator showing the process of transferring the forms by arranging the artistic components creating beauty to understand the contents.  Results from studying the history and structure of the legend through line-drawing illustration of the Legend of Pratatlampangluang becomes the guideline for transmitting the value of the legend through artistic works by using this process to develop complete illustration to be able to integrate with other related stories to continue the transmission of local wisdom heritage fading with time.
