กิเลส ตัณหา มารแห่งจิตมนุษย์ (Defilement and Passion Mara of the Mind)

Abstract

               จากสภาพแวดล้อมทางสังคม ในยุคปัจจุบันซึ่งมีความกดดัน บีบคั้น ทางจิตใจอันเกิดจากกิเลส ผู้คนคนขาดสติและจิตสำนึกของความเป็นมนุษย์ ศีลธรรม จริยธรรม  เริ่มสูญหายทำให้เกิดปัญหาต่างๆ จะเห็นได้จากข่าวหนังสือพิมพ์ที่ตีแผ่เรื่องราวสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นการเสื่อมถอยเพราะมนุษย์ขาดการยั้งคิด

               ดังนั้นผู้สร้างสรรค์ จึงนำความรู้สึกที่ได้รับจากผลกระทบจากสภาพแวดล้อมนี้  สร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่แสดงออกให้เห็น  ถึงกิเลสบาปของมนุษย์ ที่เปรียบเสมือนสัตว์เดรัจฉาน ที่แฝงอยู่ในคราบของมนุษย์ ที่มีความละโมบ โลภอยากได้ ชิงดีชิงเด่น ไม่รู้จักการควบคุมอารมณ์ขาดสติ มีความมักใหญ่ใฝ่สูง ไม่รู้จักผิดชอบชั่วดีและไม่ละอายและเกรงกลัวต่อบาปตามหลักคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนา

               ผู้สร้างสรรค์จึงใช้สัญลักษณ์ของมนุษย์  ที่กระทำผิดเพื่อปลุกเร้าอารมณ์ความรู้สึก ให้ผู้คนเห็นถึงกิเลสที่มนุษย์ได้ก่อขึ้น จนเกิดเป็นรูปทรงของมนุษย์ที่มีความผิดปกติ บิดพัน บิดเบี้ยว ผสมกับรูปทรงของสัตว์ที่มีใบหน้าที่อัปลักษณ์ เกินจากความเป็นจริง อันแสดงออกถึงความน่าเกลียดน่ากลัว ขยะแขยง เพื่อปลุกจิตสำนึกให้ผู้คนหันมาเห็นคุณค่าของความดีงามของศีลธรรมจริยธรรม ที่เริ่มจะสูญหายไปจากสังคมในยุคปัจจุบัน

               This work is inspired by the current society which is full of mental pressure and oppression from the defilement. The lacks of awareness and consciousness with the absences of morality and virtue in people cause troubles. As seen from the newspaper, troubles arise as people are not discreet anymore.

               Therefore, the artists created works from her feelings which were affected by society.  The work shows the defilement of humans making them like animals who disguise themselves as humans. According to the concept of Buddhism, greed, competing for greatness, no emotional control and the absence of consciousness, being wild with ambition and the lacks of the innate sense of shame over moral transgression and moral dread, these characters are considered to be the defilement of people. 

               The artist uses the symbol of humans to show the defilement of people to the viewers. The deformation of humans, which is the abnormal, twisted and distorted human bodies, with the exaggeratedly ugly faces of animals to ignite the feelings of fear and disgust were used to increase awareness of the importance of morality as it starts to be greatly absent from the current human society.
