การสอนออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษาในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา

Abstract

           การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสอนออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษา และเพื่อหาแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาการสอนออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษาในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษาในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จำนวน 44 คน จากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม การสอนออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษาในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาที่ได้รับการตรวจแบบเครื่องมือจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าร้อยละ

           ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ครูส่วนใหญ่ขาดทักษะการเป็นต้นแบบที่ดีในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษ ทำให้ขณะสอนนักเรียนไม่สามารถแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาดในการออกเสียงที่ถูกต้องอย่างทันทีทันใด ประกอบกับนักเรียนไม่มั่นใจในการออกเสียง ขาดการฝึกฝน ไม่รู้วิธีการออกเสียงของคำศัพท์นั้นๆ โดยสรุปคือนักเรียนขาดทักษะความรู้พื้นฐานในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษ แนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาในการสอนออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษระดับประถมศึกษาของครูประถมศึกษาในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา คือ การฝึกออกเสียงอย่างสม่ำเสมอจากสื่อต่างๆ เช่น สื่อออนไลน์ ซีดี เป็นต้น, การใช้สื่อมัลติมีเดีย หรือแบบทดสอบต่างๆมาช่วยในการสอน, การจัดกิจกรรม การเรียนการสอนที่สนุก, และการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์, รวมถึงการเสริมแรงให้กับผู้เรียน

           The purpose of this research was to study teaching English pronunciation of primary school English language teachers and to find guidelines for improvement of teaching English pronunciation of primary school English language teachers in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The subjects of the study were 44 teachers in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province by purposive sampling. The research instruments included a questionnaire on a five scale plus two open – ended questions seeking descriptive data. The data were statistically compiled according to arithmetic mean and percentage.

             The results of the study showed that the most of teachers lacked of good English pronunciation model so they could not solve the mistake of English pronunciation’s students immediately. Furthermore, the students did not confidently pronounce English pronunciation, practice, and know how to pronounce English words. To sum up, the students lacked of English pronunciation basic knowledge. Guidelines for improvement of teaching English pronunciation of primary school English language teachers in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Province  was regular pronunciation practicing, such as an online medias, CDs., multimedia media and English pronunciation tests using, enjoyable activities teaching, phonics teaching, and students encouraging.
