ปมของผู้ต้องขังที่มีต่อภารกิจคืนคนดีสู่สังคม

Abstract

              การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาปมของผู้ต้องขังที่มีต่อภารกิจคืนคนดีสู่สังคม กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักเป็นผู้ต้องขังที่ถูฏคุมขังในเรือนจำ เป็นผู้ที่ได้รับโอกาสทางการศึกษา การพัฒนาจิตใจ การพัฒนาอาชีพ ในโครงการด้านการพัฒนาพฤตินิสัยของเรือนจำ เรือนจำกลางบางขวาง ตำบลสวนใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนนทบุรี จำนวน 10 คนได้มาโดยเจาะจงเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีลักษณะทั่วไปที่เป็นตัวแทนของปรากฏการณ์ ใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก แบบกึ่งมีโครงสร้าง  เป็นการสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็นทางการ และบันทึกข้อมูลโดยใช้เครื่องบันทึกเสียง เก็บข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาตามระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ

              ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่าปมของผู้ต้องขังที่มีต่อภารกิจคืนคนดีสู่สังคมมี 3 ประการ ได้แก่ (1) ผู้ต้องขังมีความคิดและพฤติกรรมตามสัญชาตญาณ คือ มีพฤติกรรมการกระทำตามใจตน ไม่กระทำในสิ่งที่เป็นหน้าที่หลักของตน รวมทั้งมีความโกรธ ความอัดอั้นตันใจ และมีความคิดที่ผิดพลาดไปจากความเป็นจริง  (2) ผู้ต้องขังมีความคิดและพฤติกรรมตามอุปนิสัยส่วนตัว คือ มีพฤติกรรมการปฏิเสธและไม่ยอมรับเอากิจกรรมด้านการศึกษา การอบรม และการฝึกวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาพฤตินิสัย โดยมักจะทำกิจกรรมตามใจตนเอง และ (3) ผู้ต้องขังมีความคิดและพฤติกรรมตามการเรียนรู้จากสังคม คือ มีพฤติกรรมที่แสดงถึงการขาดความสนใจในหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบของตน ซึ่งเป็นผลมาจากการเรียนรู้จากสภาพแวดล้อมในการใช้ชีวิตประจำวันกับผู้คนและเพื่อน ๆ ในเรือนจำ 

           The purpose of this study was to study the crux of prisoners toward the Project of Return Good People to the Society.

             The research main informants were 10 purposively selected prisoners who had opportunity to study, to improve their spirits, and to develop their vocations in the Project for Development of Inmate’s Behavioral Habits of Bang Kwang Central Prison, Suan Yai sub-district, Mueang district, Nonthaburi province. The employed research instruments were a semi-structured in-depth interview form, and a participatory behavior observation form.   Data were analyzed with content analysis. 

             The results of this research revealed that the crux of prisoners toward the Project of Return Good People to the Society have 3 kinds as following:  (1) the prisoners had their mentality and behaviors in accordance with their instincts, i.e. they behaved in accordance with what they like to do, not in accordance with their main duty; they also had anger, frustration, and thoughts that were deviated from reality; (2) the prisoners had their mentality and behaviors based on their own personal habits, i.e. they had behaviors that rejected and not accepted educational and vocational training activities that were related to development of behavioral habits; instead, they had the desire to do activities based on what they liked to do; and (3) the prisoners had their mentality and behaviors based on what they had learned from the society, i.e. they had behaviors indicating the lack of  interest in their own responsibilities, which were the results of what they had learned from interaction with people and fellow inmates in the prison.
