Abstract

Colon and rectum cancer is the third common cancer worldwide and second leading course of death from cancer. Lynch Syndrome is the most common hereditary colon cancer. Lynch Syndrome occur from defect of MMR gene and course many cancers such as colon cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, and brain cancer. This syndrome cannot preventable but can early screening and treatment for better outcome and survival.

This article assembled and summarized up to date holistic document about risk factor, screening tool, diagnosis test, treatment recommendation, chemoprevention, and genetic consultation, that the physicians or surgeons can applied to the patient proper.
