Peer Review Process

Submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment and plagiarism screening. Manuscripts that proceed to external review undergo double-blind peer review, normally involving at least three independent reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on scientific quality, relevance, ethical compliance, and reviewer recommendations.

Journal History and Mission

The Bangkok Medical Journal published its inaugural issue on 26 February 2011, marking the anniversary of Bangkok Hospital. Established on the initiative of the company’s founder, the journal provides a platform within the private hospital network and expands opportunities for healthcare professionals to publish their scholarly work.

The journal’s mission is to disseminate medical knowledge, research, and innovation, promote the exchange of knowledge, support the development of clinical practice, and advance patient care to international standards.
