Airplane Headache
Main Article Content
Abstract
Airplane headache is a rare disorder, but recent reviews suggest it may be indeed underreported. Symptoms are stereotypic with the most outstanding feature being its occurrence during airplane travel. Sinus barotrauma together with reduced oxygen saturation and humidity of the cabin air may be responsible for this condition. Most patients can be successfully treated with simple analgesics or NSAIDs.
