Rehabilitation Nursing Care การพยาบาลฟื้นฟูสภาพ

Abstract

         This article aimed to disseminate role of nurses in rehabilitation.  In Thailand, we still lacked understanding the role of rehabilitation, especially nurses’ role.  Nursing profession is the highest number of health care providers who provided care to all kinds of population including those who were disabilities.  Roles and responsibilities of rehabilitation nurses covered direct and indirect care; educator; collaborator; client advocator; consultant; and researcher.  If nurses gained more knowledge about rehabilitation, they will be able to perform their tasks covered health promotion, prevention, curative, and rehabilitation; which resulted in better health of people; as well as reducing illness and disability.

บทคัดย่อ

            บทความวิชาการเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อเผยแพร่บทบาทพยาบาลด้านการฟื้นฟูสภาพให้เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลายมากขึ้น เนื่องจากในปัจจุบันประเทศไทยยังขาดความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับบทบาทหน้าที่ของการฟื้นฟูสภาพ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งวิชาชีพการพยาบาล ซึ่งเป็นวิชาชีพด้านสาธารณสุขที่มีมากที่สุดในประเทศ บทบาทหน้าที่ของพยาบาลฟื้นฟูสภาพ ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่เป็นผู้ให้การดูแลรักษาพยาบาล เป็นผู้สอนและให้คำแนะนำ การเป็นผู้ประสานงาน การพิทักษ์สิทธิและสนับสนุนให้กับผู้ป่วย/คนพิการ การเป็นผู้ให้คำปรึกษา และการเป็นนักวิจัย โดยสามารถให้บริการได้ครบถ้วน ทั้งด้านการส่งเสริม การป้องกัน การรักษา และการฟื้นฟูสภาพ ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้ประชาชนของประเทศมีสุขภาพดี ลดการเจ็บป่วยและความพิการได้เป็นอย่างดี
