Meeting on the 6th editor’s workshop on “System Development and Quality Improvement for Thai Journals indexed in Scopus"
Posted on 2025-11-04The editor-in-chief of the Thai Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology was invited by the Thai Journal Citation Index Center (TCI), to attend the 6th Editors’ Workshop on “System Development and Quality Improvement for Thai Journals Indexed in Scopus” at the Surasak 1 Room, 11th Floor, Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn, Bangkok on Friday, October 31, 2025. More than 150 journal editors and editorial teams from the TCI–TSRI–Scopus Project attended this workshop. The objectives were to enhance the understanding of journal system development and management, to share best practices and strategies for improving the quality of Thai journals indexed in Scopus, and to strengthen collaboration among Thai journal editors and research management networks.
The workshop provided a platform for editors to exchange experiences and discuss approaches to maintain and improve journal quality according to Scopus standards. Experts from TCI and collaborating organizations delivered presentations on system improvement, indexing criteria, and journal evaluation processes. Participants also engaged in group discussions to identify challenges and propose future development plans.
In the final session, Prof. Dr. Narongrit delivered a presentation on “Analysis and Lessons Learned from Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) Decision Letters for Quality Improvement of Thai Journals Indexed in Scopus”, highlighting key insights and recommendations derived from CSAB evaluation letters.
