Editor in Chief and managing staff of Thai Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology already attended the meeting “Enhancing Ethics and Publication Integrity Competencies for Editors of TCI-Indexed Journals: Science and Technology Disciplines” on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at the Serenity Grand Ballroom, 3rd Floor, Century Park Hotel, Ratchaprarop Road, Bangkok, Thailand.
The meeting aimed to enhance journal editors’ knowledge and understanding of publication ethics and professional standards. Key topics included ethical principles in scholarly publishing and the roles and responsibilities of journal editors. Emphasis was placed on transparency, fairness, confidentiality, and impartiality in the editorial process. Participants were encouraged to establish clear publication ethics policies and procedures. The meeting also addressed the prevention and management of research and publication misconduct. Another important topic was the THAI CRediT framework for clearly identifying contributors’ roles and responsibilities. The knowledge gained can be applied to improve editorial workflows and strengthen journal management practices. These efforts are expected to enhance publication quality, credibility, and compliance with recognized ethical standards.
