HIV Infection in Pregnant Women in Thailand 1994

Abstract

In Thailand, it has ben reported that women of reproductive age (15 44 years) with AIDS have increased in number from 1 case (6.67%) in the years (1984-1988) to 483 cases (8.67%) in the years (1989-1994). (1) It was estimated that the HIV sero- positivity in women of reproductive age and pregnant women would increase in prevalence also.
