Abstract

Vaginal leiomyoma is a rare solid tumour. The majority of these tu mours occur in the midline of the anterior vaginal wall. The tumours are often asymptomatic but can cause dysuria, urinary frequency, urinary retention, dyspareu nia and vaginal bleeding. This report describes a case of paraurethral vaginal leio myoma. Simple excision is usually adequate treatment. (Thai J Obstet Gynaecol 1992;4: 59-62.)
