Effect of evaluation health promotion program of knowledge level and physical fitness : a case study of Roi-Et Province

This Quasi-experimental research aimed to evaluate the studying and comparative the effects of health promotion program of knowledge level (foods, exercise, mental) and physical fitness a case study of Thawat Buri district, Roi Et province. The samples were 60 people and divided into two groups; the experimental group of 30 E-tia villagers – Song Pi Nong, Thawat Buri distict, Roi Et province, and the control group of 30 Nong Hua Kon villagers, At Samat district, Roi Et province.. Research instruments included a questionnaire and evaluation health promotion program of knowledge level and physical fitness for 12 weeks. Data analyzed with frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, paired sample T-test and independent T-test.
The results revealed that after implementation 12 weeks, in terms of knowledge level in health behavior (foods, exercise, mental) of both groups were statistically significant at p < 0.05. in all aspects. Their physical fitness, including body weight, heart rate, lung capacity, body fat percentage, flexibility and grip strength became better were statistically significant at p < 0.05. When comparison the mean and the standard deviation of knowledge level scores, (of foods, exercise, mental) between the experimental group and the control group after the implementation program, it was found that the experimental group’s knowledge level of exercise were statistically significant at p < 0.05. Moreover, after implementation between group’s including body weight, heart rate, lung capacity and flexibility were statistically significant at p < 0.05.
In conclusion, Evaluation health promotion program of knowledge level and physical fitness. Showed that the cause development better than unfollow up in relationship building activities, Knowledge of food and nutrition behavior, dissolving activity in Knowledge of exercise for Physical health fitness test, the exchange of knowledge about community health information. This is the process of promoting health and physical activity responded more positively of exercise, knowledge and public participation by evaluation health promotion program for continuation.
