Responsibilities
1. Establish and oversee the journal’s editorial policies, strategic direction, and operational standards in accordance with academic principles and publication ethics.
2. Receive, screen, collect, evaluate, and manage submitted manuscripts, ensuring their quality prior to the peer review process.
3. Assess whether submitted manuscripts are within the journal’s scope and verify compliance with the journal’s author guidelines, reference style, formatting requirements, and publication standards.
4. Coordinate the Double-Blind Peer Review process by assigning manuscripts to qualified reviewers and monitoring the progress of the review process.
5. Evaluate reviewers’ recommendations and make editorial decisions regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection.
6. Verify that authors have adequately revised their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments and the journal’s editorial standards.
7. Review the final manuscript for accuracy, formatting, copyediting, proofreading, and overall publication quality before publication.
8. Ensure that all editorial processes comply with the principles of Publication Ethics and the quality standards established by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI).
9. Promote and enhance the quality and academic standards of the journal to achieve recognition at both the national and international levels.
10. Publish and manage journal articles through the ThaiJO (Thai Journals Online) platform and the journal’s electronic publishing systems.
