Musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic dentistry
Abstract
ทันตบุคลากรประกอบไปด้วย ทันตแพทย์ ทันตาภิบาลและผู้ช่วยทันตแพทย์ เป็นกลุ่มที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงที่จะเกิดโรคจาการประกอบอาชีพ เช่น โรคระบบกล้ามเนื้อและโครงกระดูก ผิวหนังอักเสบ โรคทางเดินหายใจ โรคทางสายตา และปัญหาด้านจิตใจ เนื่องจากต้องสัมผัสกับสารต่างๆ สัมผัสต่อเชื้อโรค รังสี วัสดุทันตกรรมเสียง เหตุผลที่ทันตแพทย์ต้องลาออกก่อนเวลาอันควรมีดังนี้ - โรคทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและโครงกระดูก (ร้อยละ 29.5) - โรคทางระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด (ร้อยละ 21.2) - อาการทางประสาท (ร้อยละ 16.5) - เนื้องอก (ร้อยละ 7.6) - โรคทางระบบประสาท (ร้อยละ 6.1) โดยเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับอาชีพอื่นในสำนักงานพบว่าทันตบุคลากรเป็นกลุ่มที่เสี่ยงสูงต่อการเกิดโรคทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและโครงกระดูก เนื่องมาจากการทำงานที่ซ้าๆ การทำงานในท่าที่ไม่เหมาะสม และการอยู่ในท่านั่งที่ไม่สมดุล
