Factors Related with Peritonitis in CAPD Patients at Buengkan Hospital

Abstract

This research aims to study factors related to peritonitis in CAPD patients at Buengkan Hospital. The sample was peritonitis of patients in CAPD clinic 90 cases. This research was conducted during 2016 to 2018. The instruments used medical and Patient data records in CAPD clinic.  The instruments were verified by three experts. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistic. ( Frequency, Percentage)  and  Chi, square statistics. The results showed that factors related to peritonitis were body mass Index (BMI) less than 18.5 and the period of time peritonitis for CAPD patients less than 12 months. The statistically was significant at 0.05 level (p<0.05.)
