ABSTRACT (250-350 words) (note: authors from Thailand: include a copy of the abstract in Thai).

Structure your study abstract with four numbered sub-headings and information as follows:

ABSTRACT

      1. Background/Research Problem: Describe the background/significance of the study
           and the research problem/gap,
      2. Aim/Hypothesis or Major research questions
      3. Methods: Clearly describe the study design; brief description/number of study
participants and the study setting; the major methods used to collect and analyze
           data; the proper names of any instruments used; the proper title of an intervention;
and how the data were analyzed.
      4. Results (or Findings if a qualitative paper): Outline the major findings. Authors may
include statistically significant statistics but keep them to a minimum.
      5. Conclusions/Implications for Nursing Practice. Summarize the conclusion of your
study; outline the implications for nurses/nursing practice. Include any significant
           limitations of the study.

Keywords: (up to 10 in alphabetical order. Use terms listed in MeSH, CINAHL or PubMed)

Running order for body of research papers: the following numbered sections and subsections should be included in your paper in bold. It is a good idea to copy these headings and subheadings into a blank file, then fill in the content. Ensure there is no duplication of content in various sections of the manuscript.

Authors of Review Papers: Include sections below as appropriate, but also follow the particular guideline you are using for your review.  Headings/content will be determined by the processes used.

      1. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
                  1.1 Introduction
1.2 Literature review and conceptual framework
       2. AIM/ HYPOTHESIS OR MAJOR RESEARCH QUESTIONS
       3. METHOD
3.1 Study Design with EQUATOR checklist(s) used to report the study. Include
brief justification/description of qualitative approach used with reference(s)
3.2 Setting and Sampling, including inclusion and exclusion criteria
3.3 Ethical Considerations (including the proper name of ethics committee(s)
approving the study, the approval number(s) and date(s).
                  3.4 Instruments
Describe instruments for data collection (must include characteristics of
the participants, and how variables were measured)
                        Describe intervention (for experimental study)
For qualitative studies, describe any guidelines used for interviewing
participants as well as any instruments used to collect demographic
                        information.
3.5 Data Collection: (clearly describe in chronological order how data
were collected and, if necessary, who collected them.
Describe how you accessed the sample. )
3.6 Data Analysis: (If a qualitative study, ensure that the type of analysis
is clearly stated with a reference for the source of analysis).
If a mixed-methods study, ensure that you describe how the results
were integrated or ‘mixed’ and give an example of the same.)
3.7 Trustworthiness: (If a qualitative study)
      4. RESULTS (or FINDINGS if a qualitative study)
First, describe the participants' characteristics, then present the remaining
results according to the aims/hypothesis/research question.
Bold all references to tables or figures.
      5. DISCUSSION (Begin with a summary of the study, then demographics
of participants and discussion of results. Ensure the latest references are used.)
      6. LIMITATIONS
      7. CONCLUSION AND IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING PRACTICE
