About the Journal

Publication Policy and Scope

          The Medical Journal of Region 11 aims to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that meet international academic standards in the fields of medicine and public health. Our scope encompasses various medical disciplines, including Pediatrics, Surgery, Social Medicine, and Alternative Medicine. We also cover Nursing science (including Clinical, Community, and Specialty Nursing such as Intensive Care), Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Health Sciences, and other related public health fields.

          Our target audience includes physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, medical technologists, medical scientists, medical students, public health academics, researchers, and healthcare professionals from both within and outside the institution.

         The Medical Journal of Region 11 is published as an open-access online journal with the International Standard Serial Number (e-ISSN: 3088-2435).

Article Review Process

1. Initial Review – The editorial team verifies the accuracy of the article before submitting it to expert reviewers.

2. Peer Review – All articles undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process by at least two qualified experts. Submissions from external authors are reviewed by either internal or external experts (who are not affiliated with the author’s institution). Conversely, submissions from internal authors are reviewed strictly by external experts. To ensure objectivity, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the process..

3. Article Revisions – Authors revise the article based on reviewer feedback.

4. Final Review – Reviewing the completeness of the revised manuscript and the final decision by the Editor decision.

5. Acceptance and Publication – Acceptance letters are issued, and the article is published.

Accepted Languages

  • The Thai-language article includes the title, authors' names and affiliations, abstract, and keywords in both Thai and English.
  • The English-language article includes the article title, authors' names and affiliations, abstract, and keywords in full English.

Publication Schedule
The journal is published three times a year:
       Issue 1: January – April
       Issue 2: May – August
       Issue 3: September – December

Publication rates (After the article has passed the initial editorial review, it is submitted to a panel of experts .)

  1. Personnel under the Ministry of Public Health in Health Zone 11, amount 3,500 baht/article
  2. Personnel under the Ministry of Public Health outside Health Area 11, amount 4,500 baht/article
