Comparison of symptoms of influenza type A strains H1 (2009) in the year 2557-2558 to the age group of patients.

Abstract

              This study was to compare the patient's strain of influenza type A H1 (2009) to the age group of patients. Samples from respiratory were collected from January 2557 to December 2558 to detect type and subtype influenza virus by Real time PCR. Gather information from the sample delivery a data were analyzed by age group. The results found patients aged 35-44 years (20.6%) the most, followed by the age group 45-54 years age group 25-34 years (19%) and those aged 65 years and over (17.5%), respectively. The top five most common symptoms are fever, cough, sputum, wheezing, difficulty breathing and sore throat, respectively. Symptoms of fever and cough are the second of all age groups; pain, muscle aches and fatigue in the 5-14 year age group than others group. Severe symptoms that the patient is under the age of 5 years will find that many pneumonia patients and in elderly patients will difficulty breathing, asthma than other patient groups. It should recommended influenza vaccination, especially for the patient is under the age of 5 years and 65 years and over.
