Abstract

Introduction: Closed reduction distal radius fractures by using local anesthesia with Jumpada Finger trap and weight lifting, applied cast. Substitute to pull with doctor’s own strength by using general anesthesia. Reduce patient referrals from community hospitals. Methods: 223 patients with distal radius fractures were randomly selected. Closed reduction by using local anesthesia with Jumpada Finger trap and weightlifting, applied cast 112 patients.Manual manipulation and applied cast by using general anesthesia 111 patients.Comparison of postoperative radiographic outcomes at immediately, 4 weeks postoperatively. Results : Radiographic results were not significantly different at immediately, 4 weeks postoperatively in both groups. Conclusion : The results of treatment distal radius fracture were similar by closed reduction with Jumpada Finger trap and wight and applied cast comparison with Manual manipulation and applied cast.
