Urinary tract stone analysis in Loei province

Objective : To study and analysis stone in urolithiasis patient at Loei province
Material and Methods : Case control study included 161 urolithiasis patients who underwent any treatment at Loei Hospital and received stone for infrared spectroscopy and 170 patients who were not urolithiasis and no past history urolithiasis with investigated not show urinary tract stone between July 2015 to Januray 2016 were enrolled in the study.The parameters of demographic data ,Urolithiasis data and stone analysis data were collected and analysed by statistic method
Results : Urolithiasis patients in Loei province had family history of urolithiasis 24.8%,The most common occupation was Farmer 80.1%, Boiled water and bottled water were statistic significant stone prevention and Papaya salad with pickled fish and Laab/Koi that patient eat more than 3 times/day were statistic significan for stone formation . Urolithiasis in loei province was pure stone(56%) more than mixed stone(44%) ,Stone types by regarding to major component found the most common was oxalate group followed by phosphate and uric group respectively
Conciusion : Urolithiasis in Loei province was pure stone more than mixed stone,Stone types by regarding to major component found the most common was oxalate group. Risk factors for loei stone formation were Papaya salad with pickled fish and Laab/Koi .Boiled water and bottled water were protective urinary tract stone formation factor
