Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study learning achievement in Biology, the scientific mind and the group work behavior of Mathayomsuksa 4 students using active and cooperative learning with problem situations. The sample were 30 students who needed more lessens during the vacation from the Science – Mathematics program of Matthayomsuksa 4 in the academic year 2017 at Aranyaprathet School, Aranyaprathet, Srakaew Province, by the purposive sampling. The instruments consisted of a lesson plan for active and cooperative learning with problem situations, a biology achievement test, the scientific mind scale, and evaluation form of group work behavior. The quasi-experimental research design was conducted in this research. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples. The finding of the research were as follows: 1)The biology learning achievement after learning using active and cooperative learning with problem situations was significantly higher than that before learning (p < .01). 2)The scientific mind of students after learning by using active and cooperative learning with problem situations, was found at a good level ( =4.04). 3)The of group work behavior of students after learning by using active and cooperative learning with problem situations was found at a good level. ( =4.30).
