THE PROPOSE OF PROTOTYPE SPORTS SCHOOL MODEL IN THAILAND

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study a prototype of sports school in Thailand which developing talented students in sports to achieve sport performance and career excellence by using the Ethnographic Delphi Future Research (EDFR) technique and focus groups. Subjects were 17 experts and 12 focus group participants who had knowledge and experiences in sports, sports science, physical education, recreation, or had work experiences as sports administrators, sports school, sports associations, sport coach/ trainers. The research instruments were semi-structured interview questions, questionnaire, and a focus group manual. Data were analyzed by using means, median, and interquatile range.
The research results was the major findings showed that the prototype of sports school in Thailand was of high quality and be able to use as a model of sports school in
Thailand. The prototype of sports school consisted of three main components, including: 1.Strategic Formulation, 2. Excellent Education, and 3. Elite Sport
