THE EFFECT OF THE MATRIX OF DIFFERENT SIZE NINE SQUARE ON AGILITY FOR BADMINTON

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine and compare the effect of The matrix of Different Size Nine Square on Agility for Badminton. After four and eight weeks of training, 30 under graduated female age during 18-20 years old were randomly selected by Purposive Random Sampling. The subjects were divided into 3 groups. The randomly assignment was usual controlled playing badminton group. The experimental group 1 performed nine-square training using 60 x 60 cm. together with playing badminton. The experimental group 2 performed nine-square training using 90 x 90 cm. together with playing badminton. All experimental groups participated in the training sessions 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) during 17.00-18.00 pm and all subjects would be tested the agility before and after, at the 4th and 8th week of training sessions. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance, analysis of variance with repeated measures and multiple comparisons were conducted by Tukey's method.
The results of research revealed the effect of agility after eight weeks of training at the 0.05 level among the three experimental groups; that is; the controlled group is different from the experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 at the 0.05 level. While between the experimental group 1 and the experimental group 2 are not different at the 0.05 level. According to the research indicated that the agility of badminton sport could be supported by using nine-square of 60 x 60 cm. and 90 x 90 cm. had the better impact than badminton training only.
