Construction of Physical Fitness Norm's for 7 - 9 Years old Student of Vientiane Lao People's Democratic Republic

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to construct the physical fitness norm of 7 to 9 year old students of Vientiane Lao people's democratic republic. The multistage random sampling method was used for getting of 1,050 students representatives (525 for boys and 525 for girls). International for the standardization of physical fitness test; ICSPFT, W used for examining the purpose of the study. The test included 50 meters sprint, standing long jump, 30 second sit-up, shuttle run and sit-and - reach. The data were analyzed through means and standard deviation.
The results found that, the mean of physical fitness testing for 7, 8 and 9 year old for boy and girl students showed 50 meter sprint for boy at 11.97, 10.96, 10.23 seconds and for girl at 12.10, 11.54, 11.23 seconds; standing long jump for boy at 115.30, 127.79, 133.49 centimeters and for girl at 107.16, 117.61, 127.89 centimeters; thirty second sit-up for boy at 9.91, 11.92, 12.67 times and for girl at 7.36, 8.25, 9.11 times; shuttle run for boy at 14.51, 13.67, 13.21 seconds and for girl at 15.27, 14.63, 14.11 seconds; sit-and - reach for boy at (+0.63), (+1.48), (+1.15) centimeters and for girl at (-0.42), (+0.14), (+0.34) centimeters, respectively. The construction of physical fitness norm was divided 5 levels: Who had higher scores than X + 1 SD. Physical fitness at the level of very good; who had score between X + .5 SD. to X + 1 SD. Physical fitness at the level of good; who had score between X - .5 SD. to X + .5 SD. Physical fitness at the level of fair; who had score between X - 1 SD. to lower than X -.5 SD. Physical fitness at the level of low and who had score lower than X - 1 SD. Physical fitness at the level of very low.
