OBSTACLES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ELDERLY EXERCISE PROMOTION PROJECT OF PUBLIC HEALTH STAFF IN SURAT THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study and compare obstacles and suggestions in project implementation the exercise promotion program for the elderly among public health personnel in Surat Thani Province. The sample group used in this research was 309 Surat Thani provincial public health personnel drawn by stratified random sampling from public health personnel in Surat Thani Province, 19 districts, 1,340 people. Research tools was a questionnaire for obstacles and suggestions for the implementation of the exercise promotion program of the elderly among public health personnel in Surat Thani Province. Including 5 aspects 1) Personnel aspect 2) Project participants aspect 3) Facilities aspect 4) Project management aspect and
5) Management aspect. Precision value and confidence value at 1.00. Data were analyzed by using frequency distribution and analysis One-way variance and t-value. The research results found that 1. Obstacles in implementing the project to promote exercise for the elderly among public health personnel. Surat Thani Province Overall, it is at a moderate level. When comparing opinions on obstacles in project implementation, it was found that between females and males and between different work experiences There was a significant difference in opinion at .05. 2. Suggestions for implementing the project to promote exercise for the elderly among public health personnel. Surat Thani Province mostly encounters obstacles in terms of community coordination. and the families of the elderly do not cooperate in picking up and dropping off the elderly for exercise activities. Including equipment facilities and places to organize activities.
