THE DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE RECREATION ACTIVITIES MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR PROMOTING WELL-BEING OF THE ELDERLY

Abstract
The objectives of this research are 1) to develop a model for managing online recreational activities to promote the well-being of the elderly and 2) to evaluate a model for managing online recreational activities to promote the well-being of the elderly. This research uses a research and development process (R&D) by dividing the process into 4 steps. R1: study related theoretical concepts, and basic information about the elderly including their problems, needs, readiness, and appropriate guidelines for organizing online recreational activities to promote the well-being of the elderly. D1: develop a model for managing online recreational activities to promote the well-being of the elderly by group discussion R2: conduct a field experiment of the online recreational activity management model to promote the well-being of the elderly with 36 samples. D2: evaluate the effectiveness of the recreational activity management model to promote the well-being of the elderly by assessing their well-being level before and after participating in the experiment and evaluating the satisfaction of the sample participants in the experiment. The results of the research can be summarized as follows; the researcher developed the FmMsRo Model for managing online recreational activities to promote the well-being of the elderly. This Model is divided into: Fm is the management process, Ms is the 6Ms resource management process, and Ro is the 5 steps activity organizing process. The results of the well-being assessment before and after participating in the online recreation activity were found that participants had better well-being in all 4 areas with statistical significance at the confidence level of 0.01. In terms of satisfaction assessment, it was found that participants were satisfied with participating in online recreational activities at the highest level.
