EFFECTS OF THAI FOLK GAME PROGRAM ON HEALTH-RELATED PHYSICAL FITNESS AND FUTSAL DRIBBLING SKILL OF ATHLETES AT THE DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF PHAYAO

Abstract
The purposes of this study were to study and compare physical fitness and futsal dribbling Skills. The sample was 30 male futsal player. The participants were divided into three groups of ten athletes: the Thai folk game program with ball and no ball group, and ordinary training group. The training group took 60 minutes per days, 3 day per week, for 8 weeks. Using the test of health-related physical fitness and futsal dribbling skill with a validity of 1.00 and reliability of 0.95. The data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, Paired sample t-test and one - way ANOVA
The research findings were as follows:
- The comparison of physical fitness and futsal dribbling skill within the group before and after training for 8 week found that body mass index, sit and reach, push-ups, 60 seconds sit-ups, 3 minutes step up & down and futsal dribbling skills the statistically difference at the level of 0.05.
- There were on differences in comparing physical fitness and futsal dribbling skill between groups before and after training for 8 weeks.
